Did some snow bank graffiti this afternoon, gawd my cursive lettering needs work!

And no, I didn't drink 10 gallons of blueberry juice to get this done ;) I used a syringe dispenser and natural food dye coloring (which I've used many times before and is completely safe and eatable). The lettering is about eight feet wide and two feet high.

Looking forward to do some more ... :)

Peace Symbol Puzzle droppin' this Spring:

...old skool sliding puzzle.

Within the packaging will be a letter press card talking about world peace, the peace symbol, and a nob to my friend Luc Devroye (inglorious basterd that he is!) who came out with a font called Wahei (awesome peace symbol dingbat font), which I used here and once before in my World Peace graphic.

It is my intention to have every peace org carry this puzzle, I'm going to approach every single one of them and see what's what.

Thought I'd share.

Sometime ago I was haunted by the Lords of Graphite. They possessed me to create a pencil project - characters created of pencil segments...

...I feel a little relieved now that I've let loose these few ones ...whew. The vision that haunts me still is a landscape of dark brooding mystic air - raw rough lines drawn forcefully throughout by the Lords of Graphite.

This has got to be my favorite project at the moment. Seriously steppin' into the Goth side of life with this project, it's due out in limited numbers spring 2012 :)
Working with the fountain pen manufacturer, the main design challenge is trying to keep the barrel size as close to actual bone size as I can (redesign of standard cartridge seems to be required).

It'll be simply awesome when the pen (both ball point and cartridge) and pencil (mechanical) prototypes are done!! A detail I really want to pursue is to have the upper nob created in the shape of a crown, I think it would compliment the Gothness of it all :)

So ya, over the last little while one of my pet product projects is doing a series of candle guards. This one here is the prototype of my XOX candle guard.

Black letter would be extremely awesome (especially in the shadows), but for now I'm just trying out this letter shape loosely based on a cut of Kabel.

I appropriated a STOP sign. Remarkable that my little composition is still up some five weeks later.

Indoor neon typographic piece I'm kickn' out. The word BELIEVE is about 30 inches wide and about 8 inches tall done in neon blue with the letters LIE underlined in yellow, all mounted on a gloss white metal box 4 inches deep to house it's guts.

So like, it starts off with the usual relationship of infatuated kisses and hugs hugs and kisses, then turns to some form of love. Provocative p0rn-ish shots are taken and are put up on the interwebz. Which in turn generate buckets of cash off the websites that buys an awesome sports car. And in turn, gets more infatuated kisses and hugs hugs and kisses.

So really, ...is the canvas / paper's edge a finality to a letter shape - a word - or even a phrase? I don't think so!! I think acknowledging and defeating a barrier can strengthen the message's intent.

My fresh new method of chopping a letter shape and then continuing with the chopped off letter's shape below on a perceived following line has a undefeated quality.

Challenge the limit!
